We Missed Our Baby-Love SOOOO Much!

This last weekend was the first time we have ever been away from our love-kins for more than a few hours or so. She was in such good hands with gi-gi and nae-nae and we just couldnt be more grateful for the family we have been so blessed with. If you look close in the above pic you can see her two teeth! Thats right, two! And she's been such a little trooper. Hardly any complaining or swear words, ok maybe just a few.

Ben Dancing with Grandma

Heres Ben dancing with Grandma. Looks like he has a few things to learn from her.

Grandma's big Surprise Birthday Party

(click on play button to watch video)

We (Ben, Josh and I) we so fortunate to be able to go surprise Grandma for her 75th birthday party. She had absolutely no idea we were in town. This is a video of us showing up to her birthday lunch with her girlfriends. As you can see, she looks right at Ben without it even registering that its her grandson. What a special time it was for us to spend some fun with our Grandma! We love you.

Myanmar Cyclone Victims

As the death toll rises in Myanmar, little aid is getting to the cyclone victims. Myanmar's government has received millions of dollars worth of aid for its people, but has not distributed any of it. As many of you know, my parents run the Joy to the World Foundation from Colorado Springs, CO. I spoke with my dad earlier today, who is in contact with Pastor Lu Chee Shi, the Director of Joy to the World Foundation in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Pastor Lu has family in Yangon and various contacts throughout the city. He plans to visit Myanmar soon to find out more about the situation. Because Joy to the World Foundation is a Thai charity approved by the government for relief work and orphan care and because Pastor Lu is a Myanmar citizen with many co-workers and contacts in the country, the Foundation will have access to distribute funds and relief that few organizations will be able to provide given the government situation there.
