Our trip to Colorado

We recently took our "last trip while prego" to Colordo to meet our new nephew Micah. While we were definitly there to see our other fam as well, lets face it, Micah was the object of all our affections. And how could he not be? He is just the cutest little wiggler ever, and we are so excited to get the cousins together for the holidays when we go to Colorado on our first travels with the babe.

Here's the Nursery!

After many long, laboring hours on his little girls nursery, Josh has finally completed it. Whew! It really took us so long to decide what color scheme to go with, but when we finally did, we couldnt be more happy with it. Josh converted my aunts old antique dresser into a changing table, assembled the crib with the greatest of ease, and hung chair rail like he was a true carpenter. Now all we need is our little bundle and we're good to go.

So here is a pic of me and all my glory at 35 weeks. I cant beieve that I only have 5 weeks to go! Right now I just want time to slow down a little and give me some more flexibility with all of our deadlines. There just seems to be no time for rest with all the things that need to be done, but we're thinking by next weekend we will be in the clear. Josh has been working so hard and he's really quite the carpenter/handiman these days. I am so proud and so thankful for all he does to make my life and our baby's life so much better. I have it so good, and even though Ive been preoccupied with being tired and hot (97 degrees on 7/11) and it doesnt take much to make me crabby, I am so incredibly blessed by my husband and the man he is, and the father he will be to his little girl. Not a day goes by when Im not floored by his selflessness and patience...particularily with me.

Me and My Two Babies (one in the belly, one on the belly)

Here is a recent pic of me and the Mel-ster. He really lights up my life and is so hillarious. Josh and I are amazed by his little antics every day. He has gotten so protective of me in these past few months of pregnancy. He refuses to leave me alone in a room, even if tempted by treats, and has fallen head over heels in love with his rainbow squishy ball. It seems all he wants in life is to be near me and the unborn, and to have his ball between his furry little paws. He is going to be so great with the little lady we just know it, but may need some settling down so we've decided to take off his family jewels...but dont tell him that.
